The Marcus Wallenberg Prize Selection Committee welcomes Dr. Orlando Rojas as new member together with Paul Dupree, professor of plant biochemistry & cell biology at the University of Cambridge in England and Mike Wingfield, Founding Director of the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute, FABI, at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
Since 1981, the Prize has been awarded to recognize, encourage and stimulate pathbreaking scientific achievements which contribute significantly to broadening knowledge and to technical development within the fields of importance to forestry and forest industries. The deadline for nomination is May 31st this year.
