ABOUT THE POSITION
Are you an expert at evaluating the pulping potential of agricultural residues?
Trajano Lab is looking for a talented individual to join their team for three months for a project that involves assessing the fiber characteristics and pulping response of 4-5 agricultural residues The ideal candidate would have a MASc (or equivalent) or Ph.D. The applicant should ideally have demonstrated expertise in: biomass compositional analysis, fiber quality analysis, pulping, refining in a PFI refiner, and handsheet preparation and testing. Applicants should be capable of independent work and collaborative research working as part of a team in an interdisciplinary research setting. This opportunity will allow you to engage in active collaboration between the Trajano Lab and the industry collaborator to report on the pulping potential of agricultural residues.
